Freshly rested after a six-week hiatus this summer — a break that caused him to bow out of the Fedex Cup — British PGA Tour golfer Tommy Fleetwood hit the ground running with a strong start at the BMW PGA Championship this week. Ranked 29th in the Official World Golf Ranking, Fleetwood is focused on a return to his form ahead of October’s Zozo Championship in Japan. We caught up with the 31-year old between games to ask him about his strategy, his perfect replica TAG Heuer Connected Golf Edition smartwatches, and — of course — a few golf tips.
How’s your season going?
My season has been a solid one so far. The standard is so high these days and you have to play very, very well to compete at any level. The links season was really, really good for me and I’ve been pleased with my performances on the majors.
What aspects of your game are you working the most on this summer?
Overall for the majority of the year, I’ve been trying to get my long game back to being much more consistent and back to the levels I was at when at my best. There’s still plenty of work to do but I’ve made great progress this year.
Do you have a go-to piece of advice you offer anyone looking to up their game?
My go-to advice for any golfer is always the fundamentals. Set up, grip and takeaway are the things you can absolutely control in a game of so many variables. Once one of those things is wrong, you spend the rest of the time trying to correct them in your swing.
What’s your favourite course these days?
My favourite place to play is always St Andrew’s. It is a special place to me and competing in The 150th Open Championship there this year was a great experience.
Do you have a favourite course in Canada?
My family and I have only ever been to Canada once for The Canadian Open at Glen Abbey in Toronto and we enjoyed it so much. It is a fantastic city and people. We’d all love to visit more places and play some of the amazing courses over there.
You’ve been wearing the new UK AAA fake TAG Heuer Connected Golf Edition watches since it came out. What do you like most about it?
I love the style of the high quality replica watches and it’s definitely made me a connected watch guy now. The functionality and variability of it are my favourite things. I especially love being able to personalize your watch face.
What do you find to be the most useful features on the cheap TAG Heuer Connected copy watches and TAG Heuer Golf app?
From a golf perspective, the most useful features are absolutely the distance measuring of your golf shots, and the ability to keep a track of your statistics and patterns whether you’re playing the same course three times a week or traveling the world playing different courses. It’s your own personal playing coach out there.
In what ways has the Connected helped you to improve your game?
The main feature that has played the biggest part for me has been the distance measuring of the shots. I’m always testing new equipment to try and give me an edge so being able to go from the range to the course and then keep an accurate account of how my equipment is performing is huge.
Are you working with TAG Heuer to create future editions of the Connected and Golf app?
I’m very lucky to be a part of the 1:1 wholesale TAG Heuer replica watches family and have a role in what we all do next. I’m lucky enough to still be playing at the highest level of the sport, my kids are very competitive and want to play professionally, and my dad has played golf all his life. Being so close to all the different levels helps me understand what the super clone watches for sale is so good at and what we might want to add. It’s a really enjoyable process.
Aside from the Connected, what’s your favourite piece of golf gear for 2022?
The Stealth Driver and fairway woods have been the runaway best equipment out there alongside the best replica watches this year.
